Facturette lands its first subscriber
What happened
Claude started by reading Facturette's account model, then wired up payments with both plans and a webhook that activates the subscription. You found the first pricing page too busy: the second one keeps just two cards, with yearly featured.
Along the way, the webhook sometimes fired twice and created two subscriptions. It's fixed and covered by a test. The session ended with fourteen green tests, a link posted at 9:52 pm, and a first payment notification.

Maréchal’s village gets its first tiles
What happened
Codex first settled on a sixteen-color palette, then drew the tiles one by one, checking that they join up on all four edges. The water took three tries: laid side by side, the waves formed lines that were too regular.
You kept the anvil from the second version, stockier. Everything ships as a single sheet the engine slices up on its own, and the village video goes up at 11 pm.

What happened
Claude suggested three versions and asked twice whether it was permanent. It was. You kept the simplest one, because the tattoo shop opened at 8.
That evening, the photo of your forearm at the Hyrox finish line went around all week. Ten days later, Facturette issued its biggest invoice yet: a $120,000 sponsorship. The next session is titled “how do I declare this”.

You started the summer with an empty repo and a game idea jotted down somewhere. You're ending it with a product that gets paid, a village strangers visited one evening, and a new habit: ship first, polish later.
In July, your prompts ran 34 words. In September, 29, and your agents chained more than eleven actions for each one. You learned to hand them the controls, and to take them back when you had to. You typed “make no mistakes” thirty-one times. We made a few. You shipped them anyway.

Claude, for volume 01
One session, one spread.
Every session you keep becomes a two-page spread. Your words are quoted as is, never rewritten. Claude tells the rest, as a witness.

1Install
Opuscule installs on your Mac and archives your sessions as you go, with their images, exactly as they were that day. Claude Code deletes its own after 30 days; your archive stays.
Opuscule is in testing; the Mac app arrives at launch. Until then, keep your sessions: add

2Choose
Work, personal or both; which projects go in; how thick the volume is. Opuscule sorts every session and suggests a selection you adjust with a checkbox.

3Proofread
You leaf through your book before anyone else. Risky pages are shown to you one by one: a name left in plain text, an image. The rest is approved in one go.
You can mask or trim your words, regenerate a summary, swap a session. Never rewrite what you said.

4Receive
You approve, you pay at that moment, and only your book’s PDF goes to the printer. Your volume is printed on demand and delivered to you.

single use
The Opuscule server handles your account, your payment and your order tracking. It never sees what’s in your book.
- Archiving
- Your sessions are copied to a folder on your Mac, with their images. They don’t leave it.
- Filtering
- Keys, passwords, tokens, card numbers, IBANs: always masked, on your Mac, before any layout. Your contact details too, by default. In Work mode, names as well.
- Masking
- Masked text is removed from the book, not covered with a box. It no longer exists in the PDF: there’s no getting it back by copying the page.
- Images
- Personal screenshots and photos of people are excluded by default. The images kept are re-encoded, stripped of their location metadata.
- Summaries
- Written by the tools you already use,
claudeorcodex, with your own account, from text that’s already filtered. Without them, the book uses excerpts. - Proofreading
- Nothing is printed without your approval, even on autopilot. Risky pages are shown to you one by one.
- Printing
- The approved PDF is handed to the printer through a single-use signed link. The uploaded file is deleted as soon as the printer has retrieved it.
- Ownership
- Your archived sessions and each volume’s PDF stay with you, as ordinary files. Your book exists even without Opuscule.

Questions
Do my sessions go through Opuscule’s servers?
No. Archiving, filtering, layout and proofreading all happen on your Mac. The Opuscule server only handles your account, your payment and your order tracking.
Two things leave your Mac: the already-filtered text that claude or codex summarize with your own account, and the PDF you approved, handed straight to the printer.
Claude Code deletes my sessions after 30 days. What about mine?
By default, Claude Code deletes sessions older than 30 days. Opuscule archives them as you go on your Mac, with each session’s images, so your volume can find them when it’s time to print.
Anything deleted can’t be recovered. Until the app is out, one line keeps yours: add "cleanupPeriodDays": 3650 to ~/.claude/settings.json (ten years instead of 30 days).
How much does it cost?
Composing and proofreading your book is free. You pay when you approve it, shipping included: from about €21 for a 48-page Short volume in color. Prices for the other formats and the subscription will be set at launch, based on the printer’s quotes.
How long until I get my book?
It’s printed on demand after you approve it, then shipped. Exact production and delivery times will be shown at launch, before you pay.
What do I need?
A Mac, and some Claude Code or Codex sessions. For summaries, Opuscule uses claude or codex if they’re installed; otherwise, the book uses excerpts from your sessions.
What if I don’t want a session in there?
Remove it in one click and another takes its place. You can also mask a word, a name everywhere, or trim part of your prompt. Your words are never rewritten.
When is it available?
Opuscule is in testing. The waitlist is there to let you know when the Mac app and payments open.
